STATES OF CADENCE

This collection captures the sublime intricacy of nature’s contours—its shifting landscapes, fragile ecosystems, and the interplay of texture and form. Through watercolor’s fluidity and unpredictability, I explore the dialogue between permanence and impermanence, mirroring the way we, ourselves, are shaped and reshaped by time and experience.

Each piece invites the viewer to reflect on the raw beauty of the earth as metaphors for our own stories: layered, weathered, and deeply interconnected. By focusing on abstracted details and exaggerated hues, I seek to highlight the parallels between the ever-evolving landscape of nature and the complexities of the human condition.

This work is a dialogue between observation and imagination, bridging what is seen with what is felt, and celebrating the shared resilience and vulnerability of both the earth and its inhabitants.
